WILDFIRE PREPAREDNESS

We just came through the driest and warmest winter in Utah's recorded history and are in the middle of what may prove to be the hottest and driest summer ever recorded.
Wildfire season comes earlier and lasts longer than in past years. Wildfires are burning around the world in Europe, in the Western US and Canada.
The Rocky Canyon fire is 98% contained but is still ongoing. There have also been recent fires near Washignton Terrace, at the mouth of Weber canyon and West of Tremonton.
While our neighborhood is not currently listed as a high risk wildfire area, parts of the Highlands West of us and areas just to our North are.
